Saturday again?! Ahh, nothing is quite like a lazy Saturday. Except recently, my "lazy Saturdays" turn into days where I wake up at 7am (or earlier) and get all of the errands done before my pup and boyfriend wake up. What have you been up to this week?
This week I joined the Planet Fitness in town. So far I'm liking it! I got the black card membership and can't wait to utilize the massage chairs and maybe actually do the 30 minute circuit workout I see taunting me every time I go in there. I was formerly a member of Retro Fitness, but the location I used to go to was having major renovations done and it wasn't a great fit for me anymore.
Yesterday my homemade crispy French bread was featured on the homepage of The Daily Meal, as I'm part of their Culinary Content Network and they sometimes feature different bloggers. I was so excited and it really cheered me up on what was a seemingly never ending Friday at work.
I can't wait until it's consistently warm enough to sit out on the deck and grill food and have drinks at night! 🍗🍹We're definitely going to need some ways to get rid of the 10,000 mosquitoes that always find their way to my legs in the spring/summer.
What's your favorite social media? I find myself trying to dabble in all of them, but I'm especially fond of Pinterest because I've been using it since it came out. I'm a chronic 'scroll through Facebook in bed' kind of person, but don't post on my blog or personal pages nearly as much as I'd like. I'm also trying to warm up to Twitter a bit more and every once in awhile you'll find me Instagramming something tasty.
I've been using Trello as a to-do list on my desktop and I can't tell if it's giving me more anxiety because I see the long list of things I want to do or if it's helping me organize my thoughts. I wish there was a way to streamline all of my to do list apps and lists to one perfect program/app. Any suggestions? I love organizing, as if you couldn't tell.
I'm majorly craving cucumber salad, and I'll probably have to make some this week because it's finally going to be in the 80s!!
My friend and I are in the process of booking a trip to Disney World, and I am so beyond thrilled. I haven't been on a long vacation in about 4 years and that last one was to Disney as well. I can't wait! I will be getting this magic band because (fun fact) I love villains. 😈
What will you be whipping up in the kitchen or on the grill this week?
Until next Saturday!!

Oooooh, a trip to Disney World?!?! How awesome is that? I just got done writing a blogpost asking if anyone was planning on going to DW. Lol. <--Can you tell I'm dreaming about this? Have extra fun for me, Jess! 😉 Also, Trello: Sigh... I have a long history with that one! It does feel pretty overwhelming using it at first, until you get the hang of it. Or, just find your own special groove. Less is more? 😉 And if you find a organizational app that does everything well, please share! I enjoyed this catchup! Looking forward to more. 🙂 P.S. Congrats on being featured on the homepage of The Daily Meal!!! Wooohoooo! xo

Fun catch up here, Jessica! Let's see...we actually aren't grilling anything here today. We're heading up to Saratoga Springs to a crawfish boil (crawfish in upstate New York NEVER happens...so I'm all over this one) and then off to the neighbors house for some holiday fun. Hopefully the neighbors pull the grill out. 🙂 I hope you are having a great weekend so far...and congrats on the French bread feature, too!
Jessica
Thanks, David! I'm from NJ so I know that crawfish are never a thing up north, lol. I visited my boyfriend's parents in TX and they are literally everywhere down there. I hope they grilled all the things for you!

Aw, sweet to catch up. I loved how this post was like having drinks on the patio and chatting! I am super excited about the warmer weather, too!

Jessica - You and I have the same schedule! This morning, I got up and ran 4 miles, went to Trader Joes, and did laundry all before 10 am. I'm going to make some turkey burgers tomorrow for a cookout and S'mores bars for dessert. It's already 80 right now in Connecticut and I wish I had an open pool to jump into. Have the best weekend!
Jessica
Thanks, Erin! It was so nice and relaxing 🙂 but I do kind of love waking up early because I get so many things done before noon and feel so accomplished. Turkey burgers and s'mores bars sound SO good!!
