    Sit and Chat Saturday 8

Hi there! It's been quite a time since I've been chatting on a Saturday here. Wedding planning is no joke, and it's slowly starting to make me stressed/nervous now that it's 8 MONTHS AWAY! It's also 6 months since we've been engaged, so that's exciting!

Valentine's Day Chocolate Chip Cookie Hearts are perfect to share with your valentine this year!

We'll be celebrating Valentine's Day with dinner at home (I'm thinking steak + mashed potatoes + roasted veggies + homemade chocolate covered strawberries) because you won't catch us dead out on one of the busiest restaurant nights of the year. (And because I'm starting a new round of the 21 Day Fix and don't want to be tempted with a vat full of hot & cheesy pasta...or these Valentine's Day Chocolate Chip Cookie Hearts.) ❤️

Do you ever feel so busy and guilty that you have a mountainous list of things to do that you can never seem to get done? <--- That is my life right now. I swear, after I'm done getting married I am going to be much better about this. One day my life won't be consumed with contacting vendors, making phone calls, booking said vendors and then crossing them off of my seemingly never ending checklist on the Knot app.  Friends & family, my apologies for being all over the place these days.

Since it's midway through February, I figured it was a good time to put together a Healthier Cooking Tools page. They're some of my favorite tools that have helped me cook more at home and live an overall healthier life. This time of year is when I usually say farewell to my diet, but this time I thought it would be best to start the 21 Day Fix. We'll see how that goes (and hopefully there will be another round of blog posts to update you on progress)!

What are you doing for Valentine's Day? Are you baking up anything delicious??

Until next Saturday (whenever that may be, friends!!) ☕️

Im a little late to this party, love the Valentines Day cookies 🙂 . Wedding planning is fun and daunting at the same time. You do have time but I understand how you feel completely. When I am super swamped and can't get it all done I get this little pit in my stomach that won't go away, gotta work on that 🙂 . Hang in there, it will all magically come together. Take care.

Thank you, Stacey!! I'm in the midst of researching cake bakers - which is one of the hardest decisions for me so far! I have faith that it will all come together 🙂

SO exciting that the wedding is so close! But it's also far enough away that you shouldn't be stressing SO much! Give yourself a little love and take a deep breath! 😉 I'm sure everything will turn out beautifully! I hope you guys had a wonderful Valentine's day dinner at home - those are the best if you ask me! Cheers, girl!

Thank you for talking some sense into me! I know it's still 8 months away and I looked at my to-do list and figured I should be fine with the amount of stuff I already have accomplished. We had a relaxing steak dinner and plenty of snuggle time on the couch--nothing could be better! I hope you and Boy had a great one & fabulous weekend!
